Not to wax too philosophical, but… I am continuing to think a lot about what high temporal resolution overhead imagery will mean for how we perceive (and interact with) the world we live in. The implications are profound: static imagery captures information about place, but motion imagery captures information about life. I’m not even convinced that the value of motion imagery derives from the images themselves. The value may have more to do with the motion imagery derivatives that describe human behavior over time.
